Biographies of Key Personnel

Fay Mecke, Vice President of Claims

 

Ms. Mecke received her Associate Degree in Accounting from Kansas City Business College in 1977 and also received her Paralegal Certification in 1991 from Main Line Paralegal in Wayne, PA. Fay has worked in the insurance industry since 1980. She started her career at Lincoln National Life Insurance, as a claims examiner, and was promoted to Trainer/Auditor in 1982. Her next career move was to Reliance Standard Life Insurance where she processed Long Term Disability. In 1993 she was hired by NRG to process run-off stop-loss claims. She joined Montgomery Management in 1995 as a Stop-Loss Auditor. She was promoted to Sr. Stop-Loss Auditor in 1996 and Director of Claims in January 2006.  In January 2007, Fay was promoted to Vice President of Claims.

Michelle Weakland, Senior Stop-Loss Auditor

 

Ms. Weakland has worked in the insurance industry since 1984. She started her career at Provident Indemnity Life Insurance Company as a data entry clerk for the claims department. Within four years she was a claims examiner trainee then promoted to claims examiner. In 1988 she took a position as a claims examiner with Montgomery Management, which was a Third Party Administrator at that time. In 1990, she left the work force to start a family. Ms. Weakland returned to Provident's claims department in 1992. Then in 1996 she took a position with Montgomery Management as a stop loss auditor and was promoted to senior stop loss auditor in 1999.

Donna Marie Pregler, Senior Accountant

 

Ms. Pregler started in accounting in 1978 for Edison Brothers handling all aspects of payroll and bookkeeping for one of their retail stores. She entered the insurance industry in 1983 with Prudential Insurance Company. She began working as executive secretary to the director of Small Group Claims/Life Claims and paymaster for the two divisions. After five years in the claims divisions, she moved to Prudential’s Public Relations and Communications Division where she handled Sales Promotion distribution to agents. She was promoted to Video Library Support in Media Services and then promoted to Art Production Coordinator. In 2005, she accepted the position of Sr. Accountant with Montgomery Management.

 

Donna received her degree from the Katherine Gibbs School with emphasis on Accounting and Business. She also received training at the Berkley Institute in Computer/Art. 

Niambi Burton, Claims Coordinator

 

Ms. Burton began in the Collection industry prior to being introduced to the self-funding industry when she received a position with Montgomery Management in October 2005 as an Underwriter Coordinator.  In December 2006, Niambi was promoted to Administrative Director. She became Claims Coordinator in January 2009.

 

Ms. Burton graduated from the Cora-Neumann School of Clerical and Computer Training in March of 2000.

Joanne McLoughlin, Senior Stop-Loss Auditor

 

Ms. McLoughlin received her BS degree in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University. She began her insurance career at Lincoln National Insurance Co in 1981 as a medical claims analyst. She was later promoted to trainer/auditor, supervisor and administrator. She has also worked for CoreSource and EBP Benefits.

 

Joanne has taken HIAA courses in group life and health. She joined Montgomery Management in January 2006 as a claims coordinator. In June 2006, Joanne was promoted to Claims Auditor.

Stephanie Luciany, Underwriting Coordinator

Stephanie Luciany joined Montgomery Management in November 2006 as an Underwriting Coordinator.  Prior to that, she worked in the restaurant industry.

She is currently pursuing an Associates Degree in Applied Science for Nursing.
